Ohio Poinsettia Regional Trials. Mark your calendars now! Five growers (Dieffenbacher in Cincinnati; Dill in Columbus; Barco in Medina; Bostordff in Bowling Green; and Krueger in Toledo) are growing 48 cultivars from four poinsettia breeders: Dummen, Ecke Ranch, Fischer, and Oglevee. Each grower will have an open house for you to see and evaluate the plants on the following dates: Cincinnati, 11/21; Columbus, 11/20; Medina, 11/16; Bowling Green, 11/17; and Toledo, 11/17. Open houses start at 1:00 PM except Bowling Green where it start at 9:00 AM More information next month.
