Five growers (Dieffenbacher in Cincinnati; Dill in Columbus; Barco in Medina; Bostordff in Bowling Green; and Krueger in Toledo) are growing 50 cultivars from four poinsettia breeders: Dummen, Ecke Ranch, Fischer, and Oglevee.
Each grower will have an open house for you to see and evaluate the plants
on the following dates:
Cincinnati, November 16
Columbus, November 17
Medina, November 18
Toledo, November 19
Bowling Green, November 19
Open houses start at 1:00 PM except in Bowling Green where it will start at 9:00 AM.
Each grower will send one plant per cultivar to the Department of Horticulture
and Crop Science (OSU) where they will be available to be evaluated by the public
on
December 2, 3, and 4 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
