Calendar of Events 2000 Ohio Florist Association Short Course and Trade Show. July 8 - 12. Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, OH. If you have not registered for this year's Short Course, it is NOW the time to do so because some events, such as workshops and tours, have limited enrollment. The grower tour this year, will focus on perennial production and will visit 4 central Ohio production facilities. On Saturday, you will have the option to choose between 6-half-day workshops at the Convention Center (e.g. New Vegetative Annuals, Disease and Insect Management, The Impact of Nutrition and Light on Floral Crops) or a number of ½ day workshops held at The Ohio State University campus (e.g. Water Alkalinity, Managing Light in the Greenhouse, Maintenance of Your Fertilizer Injector). In addition, you will have the chance to participate in numerous presentations during the rest of the Short Course. This year, the Trade Show is sold out at 1,133 spaces and 500 exhibitors.
