April 20-22, 2005. The Hydroponic Short Course . Held at All Occasions Catering in Waldo, Ohio. The program includes an optional workshop on April 20 that will include 4 hours of greenhouse food safety training and 4 hours of education on recruiting, retaining and motivating good employees. On April 21-22 there will be presentations on competing in a global market, business planning, greenhouse design, hydroponic tomato and hydroponic lettuce break out sessions and more. On the afternoon of April 22, participants will tour the VanScoy’s new state-of-the-art 1-acre hydroponic tomato greenhouse.
