According to Dr. Richard Lindquist from OARDC, Wooster, OH, the following precautions should help ensure success for those using the product again this year:

1. Irrigate before applying
2. Do not leach for a week after application
3. Apply after root system is fully developed but before plant growth slows down
4. This product works best as a preventative
5. Apply the product according to label instructions: applications greater than labeled rates will not improve control.
