The Greater Cleveland Flower Growers Association (GCFGA) Award is awarded to an OSU sophomore, junior or senior majoring in floriculture. The winner must show above average academic achievement with emphasis excellence in horticulture/floriculture courses. The recipient must be a resident of northern Ohio. Financial need and leadership are considered as well.
This year's recipient of the $2,000.00 award is Thomas Harrison of Summit County with a 3.51 Grade Point Average. His practical experience working in greenhouses goes back to his high school years.
