GREENHOUSE LABEL FOR CONSERVE SC

Dow Agro Sciences announced that Conserve SC turf and ornamental insect control has received EPA registration for use in greenhouses. According to the manufacturer, Conserve SC offers:

Efficacy on target insect pests in greenhouses such as beet armyworms, serpentine leafmininer and western flower thrips;
"Caution" labeling, the lowest human hazard signal word;
A 4-hour Worker Protection Standard reentry interval (REI) thus more flexibility in scheduling other greenhouse activities;
Very low impact on mammals, the environment, birds and predatory beneficials.

According to studies based on Conserve's acute toxicological profile, the insecticide does not significantly impact the natural predacious arthropod complexes including ladybird beetles, lacewings, minute pirate bugs and predatory mites.
