The Metropolitan Detroit Flower Growers Association, Western MI Greenhouse Association, Michigan Farm Bureau and MSU Extension will sponsor meetings beginning the second week of December and ending the first full week of January in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Saginaw/Bay City and Kalamazoo.
The meetings will cover laws and regulations concerning labor (reporting, etc), safety (respirators) and OSHA requirements. They plan to hold these meetings at greenhouses and go through a mock OSHA inspection in the ranges as part of the meeting. For more information call Dr. Dean Krauskopf @313-833- 3278.
