We just can't seem to get rid of this problem! Growers have struggled with this for a couple of years. Today, some growers feel nervous about the threat that the disease poses. They often ask how or where they can test their plants. Growers have several options. They can send samples to a University plant diagnostic clinic/lab. They can test plants themselves by using a diagnostic self-test kit available from Agdia (info@agdia.com).

Agdia will also test plants at their headquarters in Indiana. With the Agdia self - test, it will cost around $3.00 per plant. The cost of testing at an University lab will vary by university. At The Ohio State University and on-site at Agdia it will be approximately $30.00 - $35.00 per plant. Depending on the number of plants, it may be best to take a random sample, have those tested at your premises. Then, depending on the results, send plants to a lab for confirmation.
